Google are generally a great bunch! They do everything to ensure that “the thing” you are searching for is found instantly and includes at least some of the best websites for that term. Google are the online police…and without them, the internet would be anarchy. God bless them, right?

Search engine optimization means you want to make your website more visible to Google by gaining links while it is then in the hands of the internet community to decide your fate. However, there are (very bad, non-SEO) tactics that can really cause the faces of people at Google HQ to go all red, veiny, and consumed with rage – causing your website to slide dangerously down the search engines.

1. Paying for/selling links. Kinda like paying for sex. Buying links is wrong, very dodgy, lazy, and the consequences of being found out can be disastrous.

2. Keyword stuffing – Keyword stuffing basically means cramming keywords in the meta tags or the main content on the web pages. It is important to get keywords into the content, but it obviously needs to be free-flowing and natural-looking. Sometimes inserted text includes words that are frequently searched even if the words have very little to do with the actual content of the page, just in order to attract search traffic to pages featuring adverts.

3. Content farms – Many freelancers churning out large amounts of content to increase page views to influence Google’s ranking has recently been clamped down upon by Google by them adjusting their search algorithms to benefit high quality with original content rather than poor quality output.

4. Link exchanges – It looks unnatural (like Charlie Sheen buying bottles of water and salad in bulk), contrived, and Google will pick up on it. Therefore you need to use clever methods to get people to link to your website that won’t require a link in return. Competitions are among the most effective method for this.

5. Comment spam – Commenting on every blog/forum in the World. Commenting on blogs etc can be a quick way to get traffic – but you need to make sure that when you do “get lazy” and require instant traffic, then ensure that whatever you are posting is in keeping with the theme of the previous content and sticks to your target audience.

6. Article spinning – a semi-automated article rewriting “strategy” in which articles, original content or content from other sites, are reworded to give the impression of unique content. You couldn’t get away with it in school – and it is the same in SEO. Effort needs to be put into article writing to make your work interesting and original.

7. Crappy linking – Never link out to rubbish or spammy websites. If you wear nice suits and hang around with well dressed and classy people in everyday life, then you get treated with respect within society. Google operates in much the same way – giving more respect to websites with good online friends/links. A mixture of sites is good, but avoiding spammy sites is essential.

8. Cloaking – For example, a music website could buy the domain name “albumreviews.com”, then you stuff that home page full of keywords, to perform well in the search engines, then you redirect that page to the music website.

9. No text — Using lots of Flash or Javascript only? You utter mug! This is SERP suicide (actually that is quite a good term I just coined) as Google loves good old-fashioned text and Google struggles to index Flash’s weird methods. Why make life difficult? This won’t tick Google off, but will definitely lead to Google turning their noses up at you and perhaps labeling you as mentally defective online amateurs. Who knows…

No laughing matter "satire article was pulled" it was remove at the request of the department of Indian affairs Canada? But not before the sully hoax went viral on the Internet and on social networks like facebook and twitter.. it was some crazy horsing around done by news blogger Obidiah.

The article was tittled:
"What the Wikileaks says about the Minister and Indians" on the first perspective news website and written by "Obidiah, Investigative Reporter."

Here is a synopsis that was in the first perspective article: “Aug. 9, 2010: It was bad enough being secretary under (former Indian Affairs minister Chuck) Strahl, now I gotta suck up to all those chiefs…Some of whom make a hell of a lot more than I’m gonna make on this job,” the posting said. “The annual pow wow at Black Sun Dog is coming up. I really don’t look forward to sitting cross-legged for an hour….”

"Chretien and Trudeau had it right in the 69 white paper. The only hope for them is assimilation into the mainstream culture. And the gradual decline of numbers residing on reserves. About the VAFCS

Since 1963, the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society (VAFCS) has been meeting the needs of aboriginal people making a transition to the urban community. The Friendship Centre, a charitable organization provides programs in health and welfare, social services, human rights, culture, education, recreation and equality for all genders of aboriginal people of all age groups. The Friendship Centre emphasizes the philosophies and values of aboriginal culture and tradition.
With over 40 years of providing essential services to the urban aboriginal community, the VAFCS has helped families, youth, elders and children maintain cultural ties and values. The VAFCS has also helped aboriginal people access education, housing needs and support for families. The Friendship Centre strives to provide holistic and cultural services to all of its community members.

Short History:
The Vancouver Indian Centre Society originated in 1954. At that time it was located on West Broadway in the City of Vancouver, and was called the Coqualeetza Fellowship Club. Among the founding members were: Mabel Stanley, Hattie Ferguson, Mrs. Kelly, Alice Hamilton, Alfred Scow, Margaret White, Senator Guy Williams and Simon Baker. In 1963 The Coqualeetza Fellowship Club incorporated under the name of The Vancouver Indian Centre Society.In 1970, the Vancouver Indian Centre Society had outgrown its location on West Broadway and moved to 1855 Vine St. Until 1979 the building at 1855 Vine Street served the needs of the Native Peoples of the City of Vancouver, British Columbia and those from other parts of Canada. Through a Demographic Survey of the City of Vancouver it was determined that the main concentration of Native Peoples was between Cambie and Nanaimo Streets from 41st Avenue north to the waterfront, in total a population of forty to forty-five thousand. Armed with this information, the Directors implemented a relocation plan and subsequently acquired the new location at 1607 East Hastings Street

Learning about the bp’s oil unfortunate disaster in the gulf, gave me a idea how I can apply a method to draining the oak island money pit dry; using heavy mud? This idea does not sound so far fetched to do, after-all this is maybe what the use of coconut fiber was for in the first place to do with the money pit, it may have been used to water proof clay like mud to keep the money pit dry during construction of the money pit in the first place, like my new oak island heavy mud theory?

Using a substance like oil rig heavy mud could play a role in plugging the water ways into the money pit, by pumping a heavy mud solution down in the money pit until it spews out the intake waterways around oak island. BP OIL DISASTER IN THE GULF

Oak Island News - BP's oil rig's massive leak may have been somewhat capped already but the greed to salvage oil was more important to the bp oil company$. The idea to funnel the leaking oil to the surface and into tankers was a ploy to get as much oil from this biggest oil disaster in history, rather than to make quick plans to plug it.

As I said before on facebbook a week or so ago is to pour some stop leak down there, and I said it jokingly, but as it turns out that is BP's next plan and it should of been plan A? If this BP oil leak disaster had taken place in british waters we would see a whole different scenario taking place, like to plug this oil leak at all cost and pronto.

A possible plan:
I was thinking was to send a plummer like snake down the oil leak in the gulf with a hose and then release a clogging agent?

Leak it baby, leak it..

This is a oil disaster that will perhaps take many lifetimes to fix, and it pains me to see such negligence done to the north american eco system, and it done by a oil company from another continent I find that like "insult to injury".

News - CBC stole oak island idea from first nations native story proposals, oak island was my film idea in filming oak island professionally. Oak island film pitch? 5 years of my research went into oak island, during my oak island research I was simultaneously proposing that a television program/movie of the oak island mystery should be put together.

Sadly during my efforts in promoting oak island using my publicity status from my documented discoveries over a 5 year span cbc takes (Rips off) my oak island story idea and runs away with it to only prosper from it financially. The hard first nations work that I had contributed to this treasure mystery is unmeasurable, and to have it shamefully schemed away from me by cbc is reprehensibly underhanded of them.

Is cbc negligent in stealing the oak island story, after all I been submitting this oak island story idea of mine over the years to cbc, since while I was in nova scotia 2005. And if you read much of my research that I generously shared with the world in internet posts they periodically mentions oak island should be in a movie or in television program format, case in point

I am not so much as angry with cbc. I am more disappointed in there actions, not only for me but for the people that appreciate and that followed my canadian first nations research over the years. I owe it to fellow oak island researchers to take a stand in this immoral controversial matter that cbc conspired.

Ignorance or plain nonsense, it appears cbc is doing a documentary on oak island amateurishly, perhaps a blind look into money pit? Its a FAILURE without adding birch island, its best to describe this new docu-half-wit cbc production on how hillbillies treasure hunt, by using no logic? producer, Jessica Brown, I don't think she knows what shes doing, because if you are going to do a documentary on oak island you investigate whats current with the oak island treasure hunt, like Birch island!

Well you have to give cbc credit, its better than them running water through a ant terrarium like in a previous dollar store documentary of there's, but are they shamelessly throwing money down the money pit with there new documentation? by not adding the famous birch island? Dan blankenship failed the money pit numerous of times, that's only because there is nothing to be found in the money pit, reasonable research explains that. There is one of two reasons why cbc wont mention the birch island triangle discovery, one is they are ignorant, and two they are letting there personal gripes get in the way of whats this oak island treasure hunt is really about? Birch island is the elephant in the room when discussing the oak island money pit.

Sure the cbc documentary will have new oak island footage, and have dan blankenship shrug his shoulders when it comes to him answering where is the treasure? You tube tried to put something together on oak island, but was unsuccessful cause it was all out dated material, and like cbc's mistake they will suffer the same negative criticism ass well, but the main thing oak island will get government exposer courtesy of cbc, to bad they left out the Native Indian guy.
